South entrance

Entering Yellowstone from the south, the nearby towns include Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Here the options for national chains run the gamut from the Best Western Lodge to the Four Seasons Jackson Hole. A popular destination in its own right, Jackson Hole is also full of places like the Spotted Horse Guest Ranch and the Grand Victorian Lodge bed and breakfast.

West entrance

The town of West Yellowstone, Montana was built at the boundary and west entrance to Yellowstone, providing quick and easy access to the park from its lodgings. East entrance

North entrance

The north entrance to Yellowstone was the first official entrance and the place of the famous Roosevelt Arch. The closest town is Gardiner, Montana, where travelers can stay anywhere from a Days Inn to the Big Sky Resort or the 320 Guest Ranch.
